You can always do it yourself, the Galaxy 2 is definitely capable of handling it. But the manufacturer may or may not do it for you, you can't count on it. If you don't like custom ROMs and definitely want 4.0 then wait for the phones that come out with that OS in one month or so. Although it usually isn't a good idea to use the first version of a new OS or major upgrade. You will be an unwilling beta tester.
