I love touch screen. So if I get another kindle it will definitely be the touch wifi...though the 3G seems kind of nice... But I will wait for awhile since my Kindle 3 is not even a year old....but in November it will be sooooo

I'm tempted to get one of them, but I'm trying to justify the need. I have a K2 and an iPad2 (I think I just like new gadgets) A co-worker of mine is looking to replace his wife's kindle with one of the newer ones. Only thing is, the loves playing the Every Word game on the K3, according to Amazon you are able to play the word games with new keyboardless ones, but I'm not exactly sure how. Does anyone have a clue? Also are the games like that going to be playable on the fire?

Finally made up my mind...didn't really *need* a new Kindle as my K1 still works fine, but the hype made me anxious to upgrade. I've ordered the KKSO/WiFi aka Kindle Keyboard Special Offers WiFi version. I wasn't crazy about touch, but had it had side buttons I may have gone with it.

As a Prime member, Amazon says I'll get it my KKSO via Saturday delivery, so we'll see. As soon as it arrives I'll take advantage of one of the special offers for 40% off a case. So that will save money right away! Plus I have 2 colleagues at work interested in giving me a few bucks for my K1.

I just ordered the new Kindle (without keyboard). I love the size and don't need the touch screen.

I upgraded from a K1 to a K3, and I think the Pearl screen is worth the upgrade. It really is a nice improvement.

I just about have myself talked into getting a Kindle Fire. If I do I'll pass my trusty K3 off to a friend who's 92, and interested in reading westerns.

I have my SONY Reader for on the go (since it fits on my pocket) and a K3 for home. The K4 non-touch could combine the two for me, which would be nice.

I don't need a keyboard, I just need a no-frills Pearl based display that can fit in my pocket. I think the $79 one really fits the bill for me, so I might get that and sell my other two. Still debating.

I'm considering either the Kindle Touch WiFi or the Kindle non-touch, but I have to play around with them first to see how responsive they are. I'm leaning towards the Touch, though.

I already voted in the poll for the K-touch, I am a very cautious spender when it is something for myself. Then I decided on a never-to-be repeated in my lifetime splurge, and ordered the K Fire.

The geek in me wants a Kindle Touch, but my Kindle 3 is working fine and I don't have a good reason to upgrade. Maybe if an act of god happens like my K3 got run over by a taxi, then maybe...

I just realized the non-SO Kindle Touch is $140, no thanks. I'd rather keep my fingers off and get the $109 non-touch one.

I'm another one with a K3, who won't be getting a new Kindle until this one wears out. Then, maybe that 79 dollar one (yes, I'm cheap).

Preordered all 3, so I can review them and you can make a better and informed choice.

Based on my experience with Sony PRS-350 and Kindle 4, I'd go with touch. While keyboard is non essential, you notice how much you miss it when it is gone (K4) - pulling a book from archive where there are 100s becomes a small pain. While touch + eInk isn't great, it's worth the space savings provided by missing keyboard.

I answered that I was getting the K-Fire, but I'm not really getting anything right now. I just WANT it! Because I've wanted a tablet for awhile, was thinking of getting a Nook color and instead, there's this! Made my day!

But it will no doubt be months before I actually buy one.

and I might still end up with something else.

The only thing that has started to shake my faith in keeping the k3 is word of improvements in the new screen. If the new screen is visibly better that might do me in. Most important factor for me is how readable the screen is.
