If it was the difference in a few dollars, it doesn't bother me, and I will just buy from who ever will sell to me ordinarily.

I talked to Bob Burke (the author of the book in my example), and he said his publisher told him that the prices would be comparable in different regions, and on par with the first book (a pound in the UK, and $2 in the US). Sounds like they either messed something up, or lied to him.
