I've always felt that you return items if they are defective or do not function as advertised. I do not believe a business should be obligated to provide full refunds for buyer's remorse or because one finds a "better" deal. If returns were made for "legitimate" reasons, products would likely be less expensive. A 3G/WiFi Kindle might cost $99!!! Just my opinion.

My guess is that you needed to work the return through them. If it was under 30 days you should have contacted Kindle Support, gotten a shipping label from them, and returned the device.

Since you did return it in the 30 day window, I would call Kindle Support, not Amazon Support, and talk to them.
