If it's not too late, you could ask them for a Touch instead. My Kobo wifi was having mysterious problems so I brought it in to Chapters. They confirmed the defect and ordered me a new Touch, and would have given it to me on the spot if they'd had stock. The new warranty even starts from today instead of in February when I bought the wifi!

A fantastic product at an attractive price, made even better each time the attentive Kobo team refines and upgrades the firmware. I am thoroughly enjoying the latest firmware with the expanded and more flexible font selection.

This is my third ereader (now-ancient Sony and an earlier Kobo). I find the Touch by far the easiest to hold and read. It is light, page turning is easy, and the font is crisp and clear. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it has many of them, and most that I want.

Nope they are sending me a wifi. The issues on my current one only started after I put the new firmware on it and then it was downhill from there. I think I would prefer to have a button at this point in time. I might ask for a touch for christmas.

It's really great. I have never seen a more attentive and responsive dev team.
