To be fair, Kobo presence is high when there is an update or new model and still there, but less visible, at other times. People that have long kobo histories are pretty good at pointing staff to threads that they might want to take a look at, too.

MR is not a formal support channel for Kobo. http://getsatisfaction.com/kobo is where you can count on staff being there day in and day out.

Just out of curiousity, is it your personal hobby to troll this forum with misleading thread topics or do you simply fail at reading? It says right in your quotation that the "software features outside of the actual e-reader are flawed at best or nightmarish at worst". So how do you end up with the thread title of "Kobo Touch review: 'flawed (at best) or nightmarish (at worst)'?

Sense is starting to look and feel like its own OS -- Android in a parallel universe -- with almost every aspect of the user interface getting customized, and deviating significantly from the Android way. Certain changes are positive, like the cool time / weather widget, the fast boot feature, and the much improved music player. Others are frustrating, like the the convoluted dialer / call log and the poor keyboard layout (who decided to put the hide button just below the shift key?!)

There were no issues in terms of the structure of the page, all sites organized themselves exactly as their makers designed them, but pulling out for an overview brought out the jaggy lines and generally looked unattractive. That's not, however, a functional flaw, it's just a superficial scratch on a muscly brawler.
