Device: Sony PRS 350, 900, 950; Kindles (ALL of them!); Kobo Aura One
1 - eink
2 - no glare (thinking of my PRS 900... wasn't happy with the glare...)
3 - support for most common formats
4 - long battery life
5 - ability to resize text
6 - touch screen
7 - dictionary

Also, I really treasure built-in lights (for example, SONY's covers with lights)

Things I appreciate...
- PDF support
- annotations
- buttons (not just touch screen)
- wifi/3g

Things I don't care for but see on devices:
- large memory (I just don't need to carry my whole library with me - a dozen books will do) or external memory sources (SD card slots, for example)
- audio support
- color

Dealbreakers:
- backlit displays - there is a place (I have an ipad), but not for books

1- light and portable
2- reasonably cheap
3- supports multiple formats
4- long battery life
5- good ergonomics, or at least page forward buttons are well-placed

The rest are bonuses.
: Font formatting? Would be nice but not necessary (we have survived standard fonts of books for so long).
: Large memory space? Nah, I'll just delete old ebooks.
: Physical or touchscreen keyboard? None, I hate writing in my physical books so why would I change?
: Internet? I have an iPhone.
: Dictionary? Too engrossed to check. The option of one might distract me.
