Whoa, in the time it took me to respond, I totally got shafted. Am I not a worthy Tablet Wench, Snow?

(Do the language filters apply to our status titles? Seriously, how does possibly the NICEST person here set off the language filters so many times?)

So, I need to get my EE all spiffied up to sell. Can I keep all of my books that I bought, or do they go away once I set my account to transferable?

The books are yours - they're registered with Adobe. You can open them on any device or app that supports the Adobe DRM, such as Adobe Digital Editions on a PC/Mac. They may well also open on readers like Kobo and Sony.

ok...so I can just transfer everything (including apk's) to my PC or the SD card? Then I can factory reset when I need to?

Basically, yes. The ebooks are all the EPUB and PDF files in your /sdcard/.edge/.edge-content folders. You cannot "export" your ebooks, you have to copy the files themselves directly using ES File Explorer.

Once you've verified you can open your ebooks on your PC, you can then do a factory reset.

Thank you Boris! I wouldn't be getting rid of my EE, but I do need something that I can get support on if needed. I am not as tech-savvy as you and some others on this forum are. I really wish that Entourage had been bought and would be continuing this product. It is the best format and design that I have seen in a long time!

Also, is the forum going away today? Or is it staying for an indefinite time?

"I have it on good authority" that the forum isn't slated for immediate demolition. (So yes, this is me being on GOOD behaviour, so as not to give anyone a reason to close the forum early.)

IF/WHEN they pull the main store, I wouldn't expect the forum to continue much longer. Is there a wiki around that could be used to duplicate the technical questions and support pages?

Everyone will have to grab their own personal Boris before the forum closes down. I believe there's a limited supply.
