Where do journal documents get saved to? I was just searching in my Astro directories to see if I could find the journal entry and then upload it to my dropbox. I have a Tablet PC (running XP), with pretty decent handwriting-to-text conversion, and I'd be curious to see if I could open a pre-PDF journal document in that and then convert it. Because, honestly, there is almost no point in having a journal feature that doesn't let you do this. I hadn't realized that handwriting-to-text conversion wouldn't be possible--this makes the edge a far less attractive option to me.

Look under /sdcard/.edge/.esi-content.

Just a word of caution: the files in this location are under the control of the Library app. Adding/deleting/modifying files here may cause problems with the Library app and/or not be detected. It's safe to copy files from this location, of course.

I have searched that folder and my journal document is not there. I've both visually searched, and used the search function within Astro. It's really odd...

The files I believe have the ESJ extension. I checked the location I mentioned and I, too, didn't find any journal files there (I have a lot of books added to the Library so it's hard to spot a journal among all those EPUBs and PDFs). I'll update this post if I find where they've been put.
