We have to order on amazon.com... As the OP mentioned, it result in $$$ delivery fees, customs, delays...
delays? When I ordered the Kinde3 when it came out, I had it one day later than most Americans... True, we don't get the "order today, get it tomorrow" the Americans have (and as I'm used to from our Dutch stores), but I wouldn't call 3 days delivery a day... Also, When you order from Amazon, all fees and customs are payed in advance. When there is an extra fee (which is what happened to me), you'll get that back from Amazon. (I had to pay some extra fee, forgot what it was exactly, when I took possession of the package. But within the month, I got that amount back from Amazon).
