The Nisqually valley between Tacoma and Olympia is always a beautiful sight.

I even forgive it for that damned earthquake.

I could have sworn I saw kindles in our Walmart long before this. It used to be Sony (two models, both locked "haha, a customer locked it and we don't know the code" really??), and then I swear I saw a kindle. I know I saw a kindle in Target yesterday- it was the *only* ereader there, it wasn't locked up, but it was a "nonfunctioning" model. What the heck good is that? You can't even see how it works. They were on sale, for the online list price. When both Target and Walmart used to sell the sony, the 300 would be 199 at Target and 179 at Walmart.

Walmart (and now Target- just got it last summer) really is our only option for most electronics and, well, just about everything. If we want a bigger selection, we actually need to buy a plane ticket, or craft a boat. So online is our only option for many things (and not everyone will ship here either).

A lot of people don't like to buy something they can't see in person first, and Wal-Mart has locations in smaller communities that aren't big enough to support chain electronics or book stores that might carry something like it.
i live 60 miles from any electronics, book store or sears/target/kmart type store and at $4 a gallon for a 120 mile round trip im gratefull our super walmart that serves 3 rural counties for everything has these.

well to honest SEATTLE itself isnt all that appealing, there are a few nice things to go see but everything else that people around the country associate with seattle is not actually in seattle.

i grew up and lived 30 years just south of the seatle/tacoma metroplex on the southern outskirts auburn and only entered there for mariner & husky games and rare occasions otherwise avoided that charlie foxtrot.
tacoma/federalway/kent/seatac/renton/bellevue/redmond/kirkland/bothell/lynnwood/edmonds/seattle are all seperate cities all smished into one long narrow metroplex pinned between the mountain range, the puget sound and with a bunch lakes all over in the metroplex.
