I am in BC as well and use Overdrive. Most of the books usually have waitlists but there are quite a few books available. They seem to have more waitlists since Christmas time. I just make sure I keep ahead. I keep a hold list of about 5 books or so and now I have trouble keeping up as I always seem to be getting an e-mail that a book is available. Each time I download a book, I add another to my hold list. It works well. I have a Sony 650 and love it. I was so lucky to get one just after Christmas. It was the last one in the store. I had a PB360 before that I dropped when I was trying to plug it in. I prefer my Sony. It really is so nice to have the touch screen.

No, you have to register to get a brand new library card from each eligible library you wish to join.
Check your library's reciprocal borrowing page to see a list of libraries you're eligible to join. Usually, it's from neighboring library systems. |
