Thanks for the update on the Oberon sleeves, ProfCrash. I wondered if they were out yet. Great suggestion for people who like that style of case!

Some comparison info, 3 Boxwave offerings.

The first one out of the box was the Sienna Leather Elite for the Nook: http://dyn.boxwave.com/products/deta...d=238&did=3760

The fit of the 950 in this jacket is fantastic IMHO. The reader Might be a little exposed on the edges, with the top and bottom right corners protruding past the jacket corners, but the power switch and stylus are both just Slightly less easy to use than when the reader is bare. I don't use any of the other buttons on the edges, but volume and wireless both seem easy enough to get to.

I do like the magnetic snap clasp. In fact, I found a jacket locally that fit very well, but it had a tuck-in/belt end style closure that turned me off.

Next up is the Stylio Case for the Kindle 2: http://dyn.boxwave.com/products/deta...d=356&did=3469

It took me about 3 seconds to see that I would never use this jacket. The 950 doesn't fit well in the Much oversized jacket. Below, you can see that there's roughly a half inch between the edge of the reader and the edge of the back cover when the reader is slid to the far right side. Yes, you can center the reader for a slightly better hold, but it just feels loose after the Nook cover. Combine that with total lack of access to the stylus and it's a no-brainer for me. I do like the Fabric of this jacket the best though.

And last comes the Elite leather messenger pouch for the Kindle 2: http://dyn.boxwave.com/products/deta...d=284&did=3469

I wasn't sure if I liked this or not, but I could either buy it and get free shipping, or not and pay the cost of this for shipping. I decided I'd try it out. I'll hold onto it, but I don't think it'll be my daily use cover. The nice thing about sleeves is that they aren't really brand specific. This one will work for any Kindle outside of the DX, any Sony reader, any Nook, etc... It has a nice velvet lining, that same magnet snap clasp that's on the other 2 and good padding. No cardboard liner for protection (I think it would have been nice on the back side) and perhaps care should be taken to make sure the clasp is on the back side of the reader so you don't push on the screen with the clasp (holding it, packed tightly in a bag, etc...)

So, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy a Kindle 2 jacket without first getting a chance to try one on. The Nook jacket is the way to go IMHO.

Edited to add a photo showing them stacked.

The 950 fits like a glove and is very secure. They still have a few leather versions left on clearance.
Do you have an image of the back of the case?

I'm wondering if there are "access holes" for the Kindle 2 buttons or if there are no holes at all. M-Edge doesn't show a full image of the back cover so it's hard to tell.

I like the Sienna: it looks a better size than the M-Edge. Just bought myself the Sienna. It's still annoying that Sony don't just sell a proper case themselves.

I returned my Sony cover. The main reason is that it doesn't unzip all the way so you have to have the PRS-950 out of the case to read. It's more of a "pouch" than a cover or case.
