Interesting postings. I own and throughly love my ipad!! But its not so handy for trips into town for shopping, grabbing a bite, etc. I have owned a Kindle, actually 2 and 3, and again the size conflicted with just tossing it my bag. So today I ordered the 4G ipod touch through Amazon (apple sells through them) and I saved over $19 rather than ordering through Apple.com. I may regret ordering the 8GB unit but money is a bit tight right now. The 32GB was only $70 more, but I really don't need the storage.
Why get the Touch when I already have the ipad? Size does matter and sometimes smaller is what I need. Not worried about internet surfing, I'll do that on the ipad, but more for bedtime reading (ipad is too heavy), photo taking on the fly, and shopping lists, contacts, etc. |
