Sorry, Jon, I made a mistake in my original post - you picked it up before the edit.

You have to change "Dr." to "Druni(182)" and then "uni(182)" back to ".". I wrongly wrote "(uni182)" in my original post, rather than uni(182), BD's "code" for "unicode character number 182".

Also, fixing for St. does not work well. There are words that end in st so if you have rest. you get reSt.
That's why I said to make sure you check the "case sensitive" box. There are indeed lots of words that end in "st", but not many which end in "St" .

Looks like we both goofed.

Anyway, I should be sorted now and won't need to go back to the older BD to read the html0. And I've cleaned up the book cleaner files which I'll post later.

I have a two fairly serious bugs to report. I am using the 05/30 version. If you try to add a link (right side) while you don't have a corresponding note on the left, the program will crash, instead of generating a error. I can reliably replicate this error.

Second error, I have to see if I can duplicate at will, but it has happened twice so far. Normally when I work on a large book, I will save the book in BD format (html0). Then I will convert to Sony Format repeatedly as I tweak this and that. Twice now I saved in BD format and instead of saving my changes it somehow zapped the entire content of the file. If I try to open it, it's empty. If I look at the file size, it's 1kb. The last time, my file was still loaded in BD, but if I tried to save it in BD format, I'd only get that 1kb empty file. If I try to save under another format, like html, no files are created. If I export to a Sony format, I get the cover page and nothing else.

edit: I managed to save my document by opening BD to a new book and then cut and pasting the text from my still opened document. I managed to save that successfully as a bd file

One thing you can try for the saving bug, try switching compression (it's an option in the make Book Designer file requester) the opposite way of what it is set for when you go to save the html0 file. I have no idea if this will work or not, but it cannot hurt to try.
