I was curious if any other bookstores offered this ebook. I don't typically purchase books from BN because the DRM doesn't work with my Sonys. Just Kobo for $20.29!

EDIT: Sony didn't show up in the inkmesh search. It's a discount compared to Kobo at $19.25!

Wow! B&N was a huge price savings at $3.99! I usually buy from Sony as well and strip the DRM to use the book on my K3 (requires conversion) or my NC. My backup was to buy from Amazon and strip and convert it to ePub but that is rarely as nice looking as an original ePub. I will have to start giving the B&N store more of a look. I guess I'll have to learn to deDRM he B&N books now too!

My usual disclaimor: Please deDRM only for personal use. I only do it so that I can combine the stock from various ebook stores to have a decent choice in reading material regardless of which reader I use.

Nope. That was a poorly worded sentence so I edited it to do away with any unintended implications.

Okay I missed out on the $3.99 deal "thinking it over", because I read the Lost Symbol when it came out last year, and thought it was terrible.

But it's kind of a tradition for my husband and I to read Dan Brown novels so we can laugh at them (and my husband likes the the unique ways he comes up with to kill characters), so I took the plunge and bought it for him. Plus, the books are addictive crack. They just are. At $4.99, it's a steal and still less than what I originally paid for the hardcover copy. Plus, if publishers see this particular version selling well, they might start giving us a lot of "historical thrillers" in illustrated editions.
