I also wonder how many of these marriages are kids trying to be grown ups too soon I also don't agree with getting married because there's a baby on the way. The kids would rather their parents be seperate and happy than together and miserable.

I am the product of a marriage that started due to a pregnancy and they should not have stayed together. 2 incredibly miserable people that stayed married for 51 years. it is almost certainly why my first marriage didn't last past 7 months

And then you have parents like mine who are from 2 completely different cultures (Dad's Sikh straight from Punjab and Mom is as Canadian as they get) and have spent the last 28 years trying to change eachother's views...and are still going at it
