Hi Everyone.
Me and my wife just purchased a couple of Kobo readers, we have very different taste in books but we like to also find books we can both read and comment. We have been thinking about this account sharing thing and kind of find it a hassle to have all of our books automatically sync'd to both readers, and for the only ones we read in common then the bookmarks sync, etc becomes an issue, so I was thinking that this may be the best solution for us but not sure if this would work: Each with its own Kobo account and library, but both readers authorized by the same Adobe DRM ID, so for the odd books that we want to share one of us will buy it and the other one can side load it... would this work? any downside you can see? |

Lumute: It should work. The only downside I can think of is remembering to log into the correct account to download books.
The way we do this is that I have a Kobo account and my son's Glo also logs into it. My wife has her own account. For shared books, I strip the DRM and use calibre for sideloading. My reading and my son's overlap a lot more, but we don't normally read the same book at the same time. And I usually sideload the epub version and read that. |

The device that is not logged into the account is being used in sideloaded mode for testing purposes. |
