What people are saying, TGS, is that moderators post official moderating messages in green. There is, therefore, a possibility that posting in green could be mistaken for a moderating message.

The Mods need a symbol, like the Bat Signal or Montague the Mad Mod Mole or Moderating shorts.

She didn't respond and as far as I know didn't stop. Maybe she didn't follow that thread after she posted, though, and didn't see it.)

Thanks for the explanation Harry, but I am not sure that explains Worldwalker's characterization of using alternative fonts and colours, not just those that might be mistaken for mod posts, as self-aggrandizing.
