Personally I think that MR is on the verge of becoming an unfriendly place. It seems to me lately people are starting threads only to incite a heated debate. A while back a separate forum was introduced where people could bring up controversially subjects but it was stopped because it created to much controversy. I say bring it back. That way one could set the forum to ignore if one wanted. I know I would.

I think the problem is that there are no real consequences on the Internet.
No chance of having your jaw broken for being a troublemaker.

And a lot of the problem stems from people who wouldn't dare walk alone into "enemy territory" and mouth off in the real world are suddenly the biggest bullies in the virtual world.

And the fact that they are still running around loose is the height of silliness.

I have got to the stage where I avoid the areas where the bullies are. It just is not worth it.

Make a 'fight' area for them.
