My spouse reads at most a few books per year for pleasure. I, on the other hand, probably read that many in a month, if not more. It helps that I'm a fast reader, but I'm also voracious. This only causes conflict in our relationship, though, when I want to spend money on books. Otherwise, she's pretty content to just leave me be and let me read.

I'm surprised that she even notices you buying books with a kindle.

My wife is somewhat like yours, she reads very little. Mostly she watches TV and hangs out on FaceBook/Farmtown.

I'm looking for a woman who wants to cheat on her husband. We'll go to a motel and lay in bed reading.

My wife reads more than I do - especially books. I read lots of news and RSS feeds.
We are really saving a bunch of money with her reading on her nook instead of buying paperbacks or hardcovers.

Yep. One cat, one free-flight bird (ringneck dove). If someone isn't ON what I'm trying to read, someone's demanding attention.

If my husband reads two books a year he is doing well. I read 10 or so books on our honey moon (We flew from Washington DC to Sydney, Australia, Sydney to Melbourne, Melboure to Queenstown NZ, Queenstown to Auckland, and Auckland to Washington DC). He read 1/2 of a book.

My boyfriend struggles to say the word book. I say, "Babe, have you read..." he shoots me a look, and I shut up.

For those who have a real problem with their significant other ....

The Twilight Zone - Time Enough At Last

It has 3 commercials, but the "full screen" is better than what I found elsewhere.

I bought Susie a Kindle for Christmas last year, and I don't think she's ever had it out of the box. She does occasionally read a pbook though.

Anyone who reads a lot should watch it. It's also on YouTube, chopped in to 9 - 10 minute parts, if that's available to you.

I remember that episode. One thing I tend to do when watching shows is to critique them if they get the facts wrong. The thing that annoyed most about this episode was its total disregard for nuclear contamination. Anyway, it was still good.

Now fast forward to today. There's a flash, total destruction, the power grid is gone, he escapes with Kindle intact. Happily he reads his vast ebook library. Then it happens ...his battery dies.

I bet that you're one of those people that have a problem with vampires turning into mist too.
