Then it wouldn't matter much, 'cause I'd just zip up the originals and go on with my life.
Short of embedding fonts in the LRF, we are stuck with Dutch 801 and Swiss 721 as our serif and sans serif fonts. There are ways to change the defaults as I have all the chapter titles in Swiss and the body text in Dutch as I like it. (Some scholars disagree.)

I have found that if there is a bunch of editing to be done on the original file it is easier for me to do that editing outside of BookDesigner rather than inside BookDesigner.

Some things like the title page always showing the author above the title seem to be hardwired and may be beyond our ability at theis stage to change.

The author and title order don't particularly fash me, but I would like to be able to bump the font size up slightly, and make it give me a sans-serif (arial analog) font (it insists on a Times Roman analog).

I just got my reader on Friday and I'm having fun with it. What's the advantage to converting to LRF rather than RTF? I've been doing all my conversions to RTF so far in Word and then editing the properties. Could really use the equivalent to a MP3 tagger app that you could retag documents in groups.

The main advantage is one of size, LRFs seem to generally be no more than 50% the size of an equivalent RTF. The other thing is that LRFs allow in-line images to display, and RTF doesn't.
