My apologies. I rarely mean to be condescending and certainly did not mean to be in this case. I guess I spent too many years teaching college freshmen and too many years managing departments in corporations. In both cases I had to deal with a lot with people who couldn't stay focused and therefore developed my blunt, straight to the point tone.

@TallMomof2, I moved the couch yesterday to search for something one of our cats apparently carried away and hid. I ended up vacuuming up enough cat hair to create another cat!

I have two cats and two great danes so we have a lot of pet hair. I ended up taking a thick clear bag (like from when you buy a shower curtain or new bed sheets, ya know the kind that zips... does that make any sense) and sewing it around leaving gaps for the charger and for the headphones to go in. It fits snuggly and doesn't allow anything to get on the screen or inside of the kindle. I was lucky enough to have a matte bag on hand or one that has no gloss, thus preventing the problem of reflections. It is also thin enough that it doesn't affect the use of a case or the kindle stand I have. It works well for kiddos too. I can post pictures later if anyone is interested.

I guess I just have incredibly fine and beautifully aristocratic hair, because I have found the odd one stuck at the sides of the display. And I haven't got any pets!!!

Best thing would be canned air, it's specifically designed for removing fluffies and dust from electronic devices. Couple blasts of that and those hairs will be history!

this might be more trouble than its worth but I put my kindle in a one gallon ziplock bag to read in the tub . Should prevent cat hair also.
