As for why I love ebooks? before I got my reader I had 40 carboard boxes of paperbacks and 4 bookcases crammed full cluttering up my apartment. Books stacked everywhere there was space and there wasn't much in my apartment.
Oven mitt! What a good idea!

Ah, so that's why it smells like tuna casserole whenever you're reading.

@crossie reads in private because the Kindle smells like liver and onions.

I like ebooks more than physical books is because I can carry a whole library of ebooks with me with just one ereader, but that is not possible for physical books.

Because all those who consider it to be one of the greatest novels of all time are clearly lying poseurs.

Hah! I may feel a thread coming on. First I need to figure out my own lying poseur books, as I think both War and Peace and Moby Dick are most enjoyable and well deserving their classic status (a different but equally contentious can of worms!).

One advantage of e-books… is that they can be searched so easily.

Well, except on Tolinos, which suck on in-book searches…

I can't tell you how many times I've tried to do a Ctrl+F on a paper book and then go "...wait..."

Have a go at Finnegan’s Wake. If that fails, you can have a go at Ulysses.
