The Kobo Aura model you mention does not have removable internal storage. The workaround was to boot it from an µSD card with an image from a Kobo Aura H2O in the external card slot. A solution that will not work with a tolino.

Since Kobo took over the hardware end of the tolino alliance in January, 2017, the chances that any Deutsche Telekom developed hardware will be compatible with any firmware for a Kobo is pretty slim.

I am sending you the link to the Kobo Glo N613 image but the chances of it working in any tolino hardware is very unlikely.

Hello everyone,

Many thanks for the PM of the image of my kobo glo N613, i was able to successfully restore my SD card!

But... When I turn on my kobo, I arrive at the configuration screen which asks me to configure it either via my PC or via wifi.

Except that! KOBO Desktop wants to update the firmware of the e-reader again (which corrupted it the first time and is the cause of my problems). I tried and my e-reader is corrupted again...

I reflashed the SD card and am now looking for a way to bypass the configuration, at least the firmware update.

Has anyone managed to resolve this problem?

heya, i've requested images here before (Thanks, by the way!)
I'm heading out to go camping with family in a couple hours, and I powered on my kobo clara HD to a flickering screen and disappointment. I'm trying to repair it with my own image, but incase that doesn't work does anyone who sees this in the next couple hours have a copy of the image they can forward me? I'll be leaving in at most two hours so I'm on a time crunch, sorry yalls ^^'
