Can we use Paypal with any of the new checkouts? Because I am changing the country code, I'm not sure if the payment will be accepted via plastic. But via Paypal, it is accepted.

I used paypal just fine, but you may want to have the funds in the paypal account. When mine reached my card (no funds actually on paypal) I have extra charges. I am assuming it is some kind of foreign transaction fee, but have a ticket into paypal to double check. When i used paypal before, the funds were on paypal and it was normal.

No Paypal showing on Aus new check out.

I've got myself a Kobo giftcard coming (from Myer), so it's one larger expense and it will take me a while to get through it, rather than piles of little transactions with all the fees attached. I'm hoping it will make me a little more disciplined.

Then again, I might just go through it so fast and spend more than I usually spend over an average month or so.

I should work out how much I've spent already and give myself an allowance.

Spending control will probably be a lot easier if there aren't any good discount vouchers on the horizon.

Are any 50% discount codes still valid? I've tried all the ones on the first page and BookRiot50 and all seem to have expired

BookRiot50 is still working for me.

However, the 75% and others do not.

None of the higher ones seem to work. Don't know if that's the same with the new checkout too.
