Anyone getting a shipping date on their K3? - Page 29

Ditto, ordered mine on Aug 1st and it still has not shipped. Estimate changed from shipping Aug 27 {duh} to now Aug 30th with potential arrival Sept 1st. Not holding my breathe on their estimations. I just ordered the Kindle lighted Cover as an extra surprise for the Hubby. Bet it gets here before the Kindle!

Do you write reviews for Italian press or something like that? You can't possibly need 10 devices now, can you?

Italian press, I fear, wouldn't care for that. It's already impressive that there is a press, I suppose.

Need as in use them at the same time, of course not. I'm just interested, and each of them has its uses

Besides when we ordered, I suspect the type of shipping makes a difference. For example, I didn't get mine until Friday, but I had left it at two day shipping (Amazon Prime). I wonder if I had paid the extra $4, I would have gotten it on Thursday? Oh well. It took me until 2 am this morning to get it fully charged, recreate my 14 collections, and load the 360 books I had tagged "on kindle" in Calibre, and then sort them into collections (I'm sure if I understood the search feature better, I could have loaded them on the kindle by collection, and then just swept them into the collection. But it was too late, I was too tired, and how long could it take?).I can't wait until tonight - I will curl up in bed, attach my purple mighty brite, and read! I ordered the purple Belkin case, and that doesn't even have a ship date yet, so who knows how long it will be until I can take it outside and show it off.

Ok I'm getting ever so slightly miffed now, ordered mine 30th July WiFi model, its estimated shipping date has been 27th August for the last couple days, as it is nearly 29th shouldn't it either have shipped already or had the estimated shipping date changed.

I don't care which (well obviously I'd prefer shipped) but if i am going to have to look at an estimated shipping date I'd rather it was in the future, and not two days ago, especially as the estimated date for delivery is 31st and I'm not sure how it is going to make that even if it left now!

Sorry for my whinge, but surely they could have some sort of script that updates shipping dates if that date has gone already.

I ordered mine on Jul 30 with the free shipping option.

I received it yesterday, Aug 27. It had been shipped on Aug 25.

Ditto sky dog. I live in Australia but if people in Europe are getting them on 26th then it is taking too long to get here. My date is 31st also Not to mention many in the USA who ordered within the first hour and still don't have them. Their logistics kinda sucks.

Yes, indeed! I am not at all pleased and I live less than 400 miles from one of their many U.S. distribution centers. Amazon really fouled up with the logistics this time.

If Amazon cannot/will not fulfill their delivery comittments (particularly to those who ordered within hours of the announcement), then they should never post the delivery promise. Simple.

Hope you see your K3 soon!

Don't really know about the shipping date.
But my order with UPS started 26th., appears to be stuck i Cologne, but should be delivered tomorrow ( monday).
Would love to see status change to Copenhagen today though....
