I'm especially happy for the US. Though I just read something interesting about the US and soccer. That might explain part of why soccer isn't that popular in the US..

Actually, soccer is popular in the States. To me, the problem is that they insist on doing it their way. It has to be a monetary show first.
There are more kids playing soccer than all sports combined...in North America!!!

Ah well. Australia's out, but they went down in style. 2-1 versus Serbia, and the game itself was well played and very exciting to watch. I'm proud of the guys, they've conducted themselves well and played their best, even with some very dodgy decisions from referees at times.

Now, let's see how far New Zealand can get! Ha, they're practically another state of Australia anyway.
