Taiwanese Famous Hot Star Fried Chicken (豪大大雞排) is now available in Mong Kok, Hong Kong

The Taiwanese Famous Hot Star Fried Chicken is now available in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. This popular fried chicken is origin from the famous Shilin Night Market from Taipei, Taiwan. Established in 1992, Hot Star Fried Chicken popularity has expanded to Hong Kong.

Last week, when I was in Hong Kong, I stumbled upon the Hot Star Fried Chicken. The shop is located at G/F, Tat Lee Building, 2Y Sai Yeung Choi Street South (旺角西洋菜南街2Y號達利大廈地下) at the cross junction of Dundas Street. I was having “smelly beancurd” next door and thought of having the hot fried chicken on that chilly evening but I did not due to the long queue. I was rushing at that time as well for a proper dinner.

The popular big size Hot Star fried chicken comes with original and spicy taste. Each Hot Star big size fried chicken cost HKD 25 (RM 12 / US$ 4). It was really a nice time having a hot big size fried chicken in the weather of 11 degree Celsius. Hence, having such a great reputation and history in Taiwan, there is no deny that Hot Star Fried Chicken is popular among the locals in Hong Kong.

Yes they do. I'm a regular viewer of "Good Eats." In one of the episodes of that show, Alton Brown showed us how to prepare delicious chicken in a step-by-step manner, including the easiest way to cut a chicken into pieces.

Eh, You do know that when someone ends a sentence with "", it usually means they're being sarcastic?

I'm just annoyed that more and more timeslots are being filled with bloody reality and travel shows. I fear they could end up like MTV. Losing their original focus entirely.

Anyway, Thats enough thread derailing for now. (BTW I love Good Eats!)

Actually, I didn't know that "" meant "sarcastic." I'm used to the old-fashioned way of doing it, like this:

From the previous comments, I was concerned that "Food Network" would go the way of MTV. I hope that's not the case, "Food Network" should be about one thing: Food! It is such a good resource on the preparation of tasty chickens. Alton Brown does such a good job of preparing chickens in so many tasty ways.

I thought about putting up a warning for sensitive chickens, but since it is a cooking show it should be pretty obvious what its about. It's like putting a warning on a broadcast of the Indy 500 to warn viewers that it will feature cars that will be driven fast.

As far as the reaction of those who oppose the eating of tasty chickens: We will just have to wait to see.
