I have a friend who lived in New Orleans for years - she told horror stories of making the bed and finding the pillowcase had mildewed as you slept from the perspiration on your face - now that's humidity!

It's 88F!!!(31C)

Wayyy out of normal. Two years ago the warmest day of summer was 27C. It's a holiday today and pools have not been started yet, except those with a heating system. Tomorrow should just as warm... Weird!

Thankfully cooling down rapidly tonight. The warm has been nice - it wasn't too humid for a change, but I prefer it not too hot.

Storming like crazy here. It's been about ten degrees warmer than normal for the past few days, so I guess it had to break soon. I'm certainly not complaining, the air conditioning at the store is broken and it had to be 90 degrees F. in there tonight.

It's been in the 90s for the past few days, and expected to continue in the mid-90s for at least the next week.

The pool water should be walk-in warm by Memorial Day.
