I took a typing class in high school, but didn't get good at it until I started programming. I don't put it on my resumé. In my line of work, it's more or less taken as a given.

alright you asked for it!

the bathroom at my house has become kindle kitten's abattoir. last night there was a lizzard *buried* in the bathroom rug. I went to remove said lizzard, and just as I was throwing it off the deck, it "woke up" leaving bloody little claw prints up my arm while I hopped and shrieked around the deck like a mad woman

&%(#(*(U()()(_#$ing Postal Service!!! They've removed the stamp vending machines everywhere. So now I can't use my accumulated change to buy stamps. Well, we'll see about that! Wait until I walk up to the counter with a bucket of dimes and nickels to pay for them. And if they don't like that, maybe I'll pull out an AK-47 angel food cake and offer everyone slices with a big smile! #$)*)$*)%*)%)*()*)@!!!!

Ooooh. There is a blood test for that. Celiac disease runs in our family. The definitive test is a biopsy of the small intestine. It is difficult to make a menu when you can use no gluten.

Good thing you did Xenophon, I opened the computer to write here, so no searching!

Here I go: I'm moving tomorrow, as I've been saying over and over because talking about it makes me less nervous- I hate moving. I have an access to the new app since June 24th, so that day I came over to chose paint colors. When I got here (internet is freshly hooked up in the new place and that's where I am right now) on the 24th, the landlords came over with me and started talking about putting plaster on the walls and changing the tiles in the bathroom.
They talked about it for an hour, so I thought "fine, it's great, but please stop talking now!"
I warned them I would come on Sunday to bring stuff and start painting. On Sunday, plaster is fresh, so I cant paint. Tell them I'd be there on Tuesday. I get here this morning: plaster not sanded yet. Go get the landlord, he comes over and starts sanding and has me wash the walls behind him. Ok, I can deal with that. But he talks, and talks, and talks, and is so slow, and takes breaks every 5 min and stares at my ass. So I'm getting annoyed and it starts to show, and in my head it's "*?/&$/*%*/&/*%&*/("
I stop washing the walls and start putting tape on the floor. He finishes sanding in the room we're in and just stops working altogether and stares at my breast when I'm bending down on the floor. I change color and pull my t-shirt up, so he leaves.
So then, his wife comes up to help me paint, she starts talking as much as her hubbie and criticizes every move I make with subtlety. I can't say a word, she's helping me so much! Hubbie comes back and walks around whistling, which annoys the crap out of me, and they take so much space! I told them I'd be fine, I didn't need any help anymore, but they're both planning on coming back after lunch and I don't think I can handle them, so I told them I wouldn't be there this afternoon because I have plans for tonight (which is true).
I thanked them plenty, and was nice to them, but I'm so scared for the future! I'm someone who needs her space and tranquility, I'm just not a social animal... I'll have to clear that up before I scream!

I stopped smoking a week ago, and as I said in the Moejoe's quit smoking thread, I am a nasty impatient bi*** when I quit, so don't go thinking I'm mean, I've got excuses!

Neko, my mother-in-law thinks she's allergic to everything!

She told the doctor she thought she might have a gluten allergy and he told her that was something she would have had since birth, she wouldn't just "develop" it all of a sudden, and she would have had to deal with it long before her 82nd year! I don't know if that is the actual case or not, but it did get her to check that off her list. She can be a bit of an extremist!
