That extra storage space will work out well for you. There's no way I could put my entire iTunes library on my 32 GB device (assuming I wanted to). But for reading? at nearly 3 times the weight of a Kindle, I don't envision using it much for that. I bought mine mainly for word processing, although I'm quickly discovering there are many other fun things to do with it.

You betcha'. I got the one that you can dock the iPad in. There's also a wireless model.

The virtual keyboard works fine, but the physical keyboard is a bit more versatile. It has more functions.

A happier ending. Made me sad.

But the scene where Hooper and Fonda offer the bumpkin lawyer Nickelson a joint and he replies, "No thanks, I have some store-rolled," was priceless.

Or, How come the insurance co. gave you a motorcycle without that safety feature?
I didn't ask them for one when they were asking what I wanted. It's not something I usually think about. I always put one on my bikes, and just took it for granted. Not a safety issue as much as a wus problem. I'm a wus. My face is protected by my helmet face shield. It's my chest that gets the cold wind. I'll whip up a leather chest 'dickey' for use for the next couple of days. If there is one thing I have a lot of, it's leather for crafting.

How soon will you get yours back?
My repair shop called me yesterday to tell me that the damage estimate was $900 USD and the insurance company OK'ed full payment. The repairs should be finished by the end of the month. I'll be leaving here in another three days, and be gone for most of that repair time. I'll be back a day or two before it's finished. No real discomfort.

Now, you know, I'll bet that's not a statement most of us could make. You were Grizzly Adams in a previous life, and saved all those skins, or what?

And will it be your birthday in tomorrowland when you read this? If so...

Happy Birthday!

Had a similar situation in '69 (?) while camping. Sitting around the fire, a girlfriend offered a visiting camper some hash. He replied 'No thanks. I've already eaten.' Slight hesitation in conversation around the fire, but the evening went on well.

In this life.

Betty, I'd like to ask you to input 'Stitching Awl' into Wikipedia.

This has been my hobby/avocation for many, many years. I have an entire closet devoted to rolls of different sorts of leathers, both plain and exotic, laces and thongs of every style and shape, and enough tools to choke a horse! It made choosing an on-line name pretty easy. I figured 'Stitchawl' was gentler sounding than 'Hammer,' and less prone to misunderstanding than 'Sailmaker'sPalm.'

Yes. Thanks for that! I am celebrating the 43rd anniversary of my 21st birthday!
I'm just about ready to change my clothes so we can head out to the Mexican restaurant. No bike tonight though. It's my night to get really tipsy! Fortunately, getting drunk in Japan isn't regarded with the same negative feelings as it is in the west. As long as one isn't a nasty drunk or a constant one, it's considered good fun! This is the only night of the year that I have more than one or two drinks, so my wife has no problem at all with me not being exactly steady at the end of the evening. I will not be exactly steady at the end of the evening. Not falling down drunk, mind you. Just not exactly steady.
