I'm procrastinating.
Today I want to make a start with cleaning up/out my big closet. My goal is to fill up a trashbag, which shouldn't be too hard, since there are a lot of clothes that can go. It's the other things I'm concerned about. Those boxes and containers that need to be sorted. I hate to do that chore. But it needs to be done. It'll be nice to be able to use that closet properly again. Not just for clothes, but also for crafting stuff. I will need to get some storage boxes for the various things, but I will first need to figure out what I need exactly. Time to get dressed, put on a podcast and get going. |

All four cats have been successfully dosed. It took two days and the stalking expertise of a serial killer but it's done.

We clipped our kittens' nails for the first time when they were just under 2 months old. We do it about once a month now. Sachiko, the Maine Coon, really doesn't care. She just lays there in my wife's arms until she gets her treat. Sei, the little calico, fights to varying degrees, but we have never had an issue doing it with both of us participating. We did both cats' nails yesterday in just under five minutes.
I'm getting ready to head to court for the day. |

Going on a bit of a binge. The first three are for the continuing read-alongs with A Public Space and the rest are my wife wanting to dig in on some issues.

Just returned from an almost empty town centre, after doing a few bits of essential food shopping. Everyone keeping a safe distance from one another, no queues in the shops I visited (two!) so a good result under the current conditions.

Last week we got a bunch of new products in, yesterday I finished processing the order. But we didn't have enough pins to hang the new products on.
We still had a bunch of pins, but they were still dirty from the fire (over 7 years ago). I made my father dig them out and today I cleaned them. They didn't smell until I made the wet. They are clean now and they are soaking in buckets of water with a very generous splash of pine scented cleaner to get rid of the smell. I already changed my clothes and scrubbed my hands and arms, but I can still smell the smoke on me. At least I think I do, others probably won't smell it. I think I'm going to take an early shower with a strong scented shower gel. |

Doing some maintenance on my Calibre library. A lot of ebooks I have have multiple formats, wasting space on my Dropbox. I'm (re)converting everything to epub and deleting the other formats. And from now on I will only keep the epub format of ebooks (unless it's a graphic novel or PDF file).
I just switched from doing it in batches of 10 ebook to batches of 20. I'm over half way through my library, so hopefully I'll be able to finish it this weekend. |

As if I haven't gotten enough hobbies, I'm now looking at getting a beginner's cross stitch kit. I will need to get a ring separately, but all the other things needed are in the kit.
Before getting a kit I'll start by watching some YouTube videos. |

These were both "beginners kits", with stamped designs on 11 count fabric. The stamping dissolves in warm water when you are done. Last edited by badgoodDeb; 06-22-2020 at 05:20 PM. |
