right now I'm drying my coffee plunger parts after soaking them in white vinegar and rinsing them. My apologies to any for whom such news was excessively tense and action-packed.

Browsing this forum, prior to starting to prepare my sunday lunch.I enjoy cooking and sundays are a traditional 'roast' style meal. Beats a sandwich for bulk!

Taking a break from my Monday morning chores of doing laundry and cleaning. I'm almost done, I just need to plan my week in my planner, the most fun of my Monday chores. After that I can read the rest of the day.

. I cook a traditional Sunday lunch pretty much every week too. I really enjoy my time in the kitchen. This Sunday I did a ham with mashed potato, cavalo nero, sweet corn, stringless beans, gravy and parsley sauce; what did you do? Now, I'm lying on the bed in my hotel room waiting for a film to download. Seventh country I've been to this year. I spend way too much time in hotels! | |

This thread should be renamed to "So what were you doing JUST NOW?" Anyway I was just booking tickets to see Star is Born which finishes showing soon. Next I'm going for a walk around a block or two. Had to look up 'cavalo nero', it's called Black or Tuscany cabbage down here. BR |

I've finally started on the Christmas cards today. I might have bitten off more than I can chew, or rather: I've die cut more than I can glue (especially since I'm not expecting my sticker maker until Saturday). I've got two different designs, each consisting of over 20 small die cuts, which need to be cut out and stuck together to make a snow globe. I have to make 30 cards. Today I stamped the inside of all my card bases (I cheated by buying those ready-made), and I die cut all the blue and brown pieces. I should be able to finish die cutting on Sunday, then I can start assembling next week. Right now I'm looking at hotel rooms for Amsterdam in March, when I go to Sarah Millican's show. I plan to stay two nights. I might stay in a capsule hotel again, the one I stayed in in Rotterdam also has a hotel in Amsterdam. But I'm still looking. |

Getting ready for bed, for the first time in a long while I've stayed up too late to finish a book.
