When I finshed converting the 23 books, there were 14 calibre-parallel.exe processes in memory. I think by your standard, that this is not normal. Should I open a new ticket or can you reopen this one?: http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/ticket/2780 Cheers Art |

You can re-open the ticket yourself. Just add a comment indicating that you can reproduce it in a non win 7 environment

Should series sort by number?
I've been trying the beta, and added a couple of series where I manually set the book number of the series (for instance, "Lord of the Isles [1]", "Lord of the Isles [2]".
When I send them to my PRS505 and browse by collection though, the order seems kind of random. Is there anyway to make it sort by series order? |

hello! I just upgraded to the 0.6beta10 from the 0.5 series. I have replaced my prior usage of html2epub in scripts with ebook-convert, and there are some changes to the formatting with the new command, and I'd like to get the formatting behavior as close to 0.5 as possible.
So far I've noticed: 1) ebook-convert is automatically adding page breaks in various places that html2epub didn't. Is there a way to stop this from happeneng? It seems like the "--page-breaks-before=" might apply, what was this set to in 0.5? 2) How do I stop ebook-convert from automatically adding a cover page with the Calibre logo and the text "Produced by calibre 0.6.0b10"? |

1) Try setting page-breaks-before to /
2) Specify your own cover |

beta 10 won't run
I installed beta10 in xpsp3 and the main app won't run at all. The reader app runs ok. The main app goes through a mini-wizard the first time I run it then quits. Thereafter each time I run it I get a small window that pops up momentarily then goes away before I can really see anything and the app closes. Help?

Sorry, missed that
This error seems to be coming from a python library. Running the following command should confirm it Code:
calibre-debug -c "from multiprocessing.connection import Listener; l = Listener(); import time; time.sleep(5); print l.address" |
