Thanks for the tip, i just tried reading a video from Youku, and it worked!!!

So for everyone's information, our little device is capable of reading flash videos!

I am so far very happy with the 3.0 firmware for the SmartQ7.

I still have chinese for the adobe reader.

Now being a little more adventurous.
What else can I install? Is there a comic book reader that should work?

I have never read comic books other then in paper form. So what are my options here? I saw the link to some of the other software but what should work on the SmartQ7?

Any one have a newbie guide or primer to installing apps on the smartQ7? What should we or do we need to look for to find apps that can be installed?

I have upgraded the 3.0 firmware. Sometime i can't open the Bluetooth but sometime can.
Did anyone meet this?

Every time I recharge the Q7 she switches on and when I switcher her off she comes on again!!!. Is there a setting I need to change?

Does it actually freeze, or does it take a while to respond?

The Q7 is about the only thing going on right now in this particular subforum. There is no limit to how many threads we can start.

It must be power on when charging.

I wasn't able to start it at all. Finally I uninstalled then reinstalled bluetooth. It now works.

Hm.. This might be a stupid question, but how did you uninstall and reinstall bluetooth? I'm having the same problem.

I've upgraded to firmware 3.0 and now I get a "GTK+ icon theme is not properly set" error occasionally.

This seems to happen when my Q7 goes into suspend mode (unplugged) for a few hours and then I plug in the charger.

My workaround is to shut down the device (via logout), restart, and everything works fine.

Is anyone else experiencing a similar error?

Go to http://www.eletroworld.cn/nb/downloa...Q%20Manual.pdf to download the revised manual.

I worked (for free) with Eletroworld on Monday to revise the manual's text because I thought this would be a good way to help make the Q5/Q7 devices easier for everybody to use.

A few of the graphics (showing Chinese-language examples) should be replaced with English-language ones but it's definitely a step forward from the earlier version.

Of course, Eletroworld is solely responsible for the content of the manual.
