Don't forget your Chlorophyll, to help oxygenate your blood! Quite an altitude there--around the same height as our place in Wyoming, in the mountains, and it can take some adjustment, if you're not used to it.

Waiting for my tea to steep. After that I'm going to prepare a snack and watch the final two episodes of Lost in Space on Netflix.

I'm not sure what I'm going to watch after that. It'll either be The Rain or One of Us. Probably the latter because it's only four episodes.

Man, you have a high pain tolerance level. We couldn't make it through the first episode. All the ubiquitous "uber-smart kids, dad's a jerk, mom's in charge" crap that seems to infect EVERY show lately. Just...tedious.

I agree with you on the stereotypes, and it is very annoying. And the story is slow. However, I've been doing other things whilst I have this on. And it's okay enough to be on in the background. And when I finish it it will at least be removed from the "continue waching..." list (I wish you could edit that).

That is weird. I knew I just read the details of a series called One of Us on Netflix. A little while later I couldn't find it again. After some digging it turns out Netflix lists the series under the title Retribution, but if you click for more details it gives the title as One of Us.

I used the search function to look for One of Us and Retribution isn't listed. Confusing.

Yeah--I wish you could edit that, too. AND remove some types of shows. Like comedies--we don't watch those, really--kids' shows--none her--and the like. Or many, many, MANY subtitled shows--Mr. H has trouble reading the captions fast enough, so we tend not to watch those.

But it's like talking to a wall, old Netflix. Kind of like trying to reach Liberty Media to tell them that they've utterly screwed up F1 coverage here.

You can remove them apparently, but it's easier for films than for tv series. Go to settings > account > scroll to My Profile > viewing activity. There you can remove things. But for a series you have to remove all the episodes (of a season?) you've seen for it to disappear off the list.

It would be lovely to choose which things they don't have to show you (for me comedy, rom coms and Dutch shows) and things you're less interested in.

YES, it would. I find it truly aggravating, for all the streaming channels, that I'm forced to plow through all sorts of dreck I have ZERO interest in, to try to find the few things that we'll like. Bugger.

I wish, before I started these, that someone--anyone--would have told me that her publisher dropped the series, so that the last two Chens were never published, books 6 & 7. It's extremely annoying to learn, mid-labor, that I'll never know what happens.
