Estep has a mix of self-published and mainstream publishing house. This is one of her self-published; I've read quite a few of her books and recommend her as a fun, light read.

I noticed that 2010 and 2061 are on sale for $2.99 and 3001 is $3.99 on Amazon.

What's bizarre is these are all different versions than what I purchased from Amazon back in 2014, even though the covers look the same (the latest 2001 at least has a different cover!). Does anyone know what's "new" about these versions?

2010, 2061 and 3001 (and most other Arthur C. Clarke books) are published by Open Road. Give them time and they'll be $1.99. Open Road also has a habit or 'reissuing' books. Not sure why.

I've picked up Rendezvous With Rama, Prelude to Space, 2010 and 2061 more than once before I caught on.

The third and fourth titles in the Queen's Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner have dropped to $3.99 each at Kindle US. Not matched at Kobo US, at least so far. $3.99 is not a great sale price, but per eReaderIQ, neither of these has been on sale even this low before....
