Yep - use Chrome - it works for me - particularly using NZ as my home country!!

The Kobo site will be the 'new look' as will the checkout ....

Ok, so I tried Chrome.... and it worked!!!! YAY!!!!!

The title was Closed Doors by Lisa O'Donnell, by the way. It was originally $18.79, which I think is ridiculous for an ebook, especially for an average, run-of-the-mill fiction novel.

USA and New Zealand get the new checkout, Norfolk Island no. In New Zealand I haven't been able to find paypal option, but I've used it at USA website.

Following on from Terisa:

In the New Zealand Kobo Chrome site search for the ebook that you want then:

- go forward to the checkout

- enter all your credit card details

- go the next stage (the one prior to confirmation)

- and then click on Edit which is up the top right hand corner - see pic attached to this post

- then change your country to whatever you want eg Norfolk Island or wherever

- then press continue and the price will come up for the country that you entered

- then enter the voucher code (if you're using one)

Ask questions if that helps

Ok, so I should change the adress of my account to New Zealand? The stupid thing is, that I can almost choose any country in the world, but not New Zealand. What is the http adress of the New Zealand kobo site? I tried both nz.kobo.com, nz.kobobooks.com, www.kobo.nz and www.kobobooks.nz but they all give me: site not available. Does kobo nz block internet access from the European Union?

I just change the end country code to UK or US etc, depending on where in the world as the best offer.

O, wait I found New Zealand in the options. It was at the top and not under "N".

jaj - open the kobobooks.com site that you regularly use - and then:

- My Account

- Payment Information

- on the right hand side you will need to 'clear your payment information'

- then under Country - choose New Zealand - it's the 4th one down from the very top of the list

- then save

- then you may need to alter some of the information - but - Kobo will give the examples that it wants - so copy and paste that info

- then save again and go to the Home screen

- then close that version

- then using Chrome open kobobooks.com and it should be at the New Zealand site.
