Kobo Discounts: Coupon Codes + Discussion - Page 273

Wondering if it’s the new checkout system? Or the book won’t take the promo. In the past, books that don’t accept promo codes wouldn’t show the promo code entry box in checkout.

The book I’m trying to buy has the promo code entry field, but it’s refusing every promo code listed.

Maybe I’ve worn out my promo code allowance?

Anyone else experiencing the same?

I have tried GxKj5ws several times and its never worked for me, it always says it has already been redeemed.

Well I'll be blowed if I can get either the 'magic code' or any of the other already used codes to work.

I've tried from the perspective of being in Aus, Norfolk Island, US and Canada over a range of books (all discountable) and no go!

I first started trying yesterday arvo after it was first posted ... so it's not through lack of effort on my part, lol.

I've tried using IE9, Firefox (current), Chrome (current).

FYI I only get the 'old look' checkout on all those sites.

Have you tried New Zealand? It did work for me (using Chrome) earlier on several books, one particular was Only Superhuman.

I just used GxKj5ws for 75% off on six straight purchases before it stopped allowing me to use the code again. Quite the rush!!

IE9 NZ doesn't accept the 'special codes'.

Chrome NZ uses the new look checkout and I can't see where to put the code info on the page where one needs to enter their credit card details. I'm a bit concerned that if I put my card details the transaction will go through.

At what stage on the new checkout does one enter the voucher code info?

PS Fancy me forgetting to check out the NZ site, it's usually one of the first sites I check

Clearly I've been way too over excited by all this

The 75% code worked for me several (ahem) times. I loaded up on knitting and crochet books.

I have been getting the new checkout in the US on Chrome.

Payment info goes up top, then click Continue and the pane will slide up with the coupon code and price details.

After 11 books I had to stop. And of course this would be the time I actually won a 75% off code in a Kobo contest.
