The local news broke into Jeopardy tonight just before Final Jeopardy with a weather warning. If anyone watched tonight, can you please tell me who won?

Looking for alternatives for Protopage. In the past I used iGoogle to design my own startpage, with links to my favourite/most used websites. When Google discontinued it I switched to Protopage. However, lately it has happened too often that the website was down and that is getting annoying. I've registered with both start.me and uStart.org, to see which will work best for me. If anything, it'll be good to have a back-up.

I'm currently in a watercolour phase again. And I just saw on the website of my craft store they just got in a couple of new sets. I'm now trying to convince myself not to buy them (but they are so pretty!), I already have four sets (proper set, cheap set, shimmer and a Kuratake set). But it's so tempting.

And the worst thing is that there are four sets; basics, metalics, tropical and pastels. I already have a basic and a metalic/shimmer set, so I will have to ignore the other two sets tomorrow when I go pick up my mixed media kit tomorrow. Hopefully they are sold out.

They only had three sets in stock; the basics, the shimmer and the pastel set. The basic colours I already have. The shimmer set turned out to be 12 shades of gold, and in my current set I already have 4 or 5 different golds which is more than enough for me. So I only got the pastel set.

However, it came in a very compact and nice palette. I have seen these palettes offered for very little online. I've decided to order a couple of those palettes, move my proper set into one and use the other ones to put together my own sets.

Didn't find any cookbooks, but found a granite hotplate and a non-electric waffle maker.
