The implications of this newfound knowledge, as well as their need to protect Willis from the unscrupulous Mr. Howe, prompt the boys to run away from school, to warn their parents and the rest of their colony. What they encounter along the way not only has them questioning everything they know, about Willis and the mysterious Martian race, but the ramifications of their actions are more profound in this edition of Red Planet, which has restored the ending Robert A. Heinlein had originally intended to be published.

Thieves' World Volumes 1 & 2 are on sale for $3.99 each. These are "boxed sets" of 3 of the original books (volume 1 = books 1-3 while volume 2 = books 4-6).

I'm having terrible internet today, but I received a note that many of Terry Pratchett's Diskworld books are reduced price at Amazon. Most are $4.99 and a few are $5.99. I expect that Kobo has matched.

The first book in the Spice and Wolf fantasy light novel series by Isuna Hasekura is on sale for $3.99 at Kindle and other ebook retailers. Come for the human merchant / wolf goddess bantering romance fantasy; stay for the surprisingly compelling explorations of low fantasy medieval economics. I definitely recommend the series.
