Is it just me or is Amazon's Black Friday nothing special this year? Amazon's own products have been discounted since yesterday and it looks like they're offering no new deals for electronics of any type.

I agree, I had better luck going to the store last night.

Starting to go through lightning deals now, I filtered for electronics and video games. The first thing on the list, diaper rash cream! Woo hoo! Now which one of my electronics would I apply that too?

The only thing we've got this year is a Paperwhite 3 for hubby from Tesco's for £50 which is real bargain as we even have the persimmon case for it to go in. He has a PW2 but with only 2GB of storage and he's not a cloud person preferring to have this books on his device.

If you are a US buyer, you will get it cheaper going through Chapters.

I bought one $35 Fire, but thinking of getting another from Staples. $55 including the official case and 32 gb card. Basically the same price, and I do have 2 daughters....

I ordered one, it says delivery in one biz day. It would be awesome if it comes tomorrow, as Sunday's DD's birthday. (Says delivery Monday, but you never know)

I went back in and ordered two more of the Fire $35 deal yesterday evening. Delivery is now expected for Dec. 16th!! And yes, I have Prime. Guess LOTS of people ordered them. Even the first one I ordered in the morning isn't due till Tuesday.

Well I just cancelled the one I had ordered from Amazon. We really don't need two of them. I checked with my older daughter to see if she would be jealous, and she said no. (She has her own Fire HD6 & Nook HD, both working just fine).

Yeah, unfortunately the the base $5 is sold out from what I'm seeing as well. The small 'kit' Budget pack is available from Adafruit for $29 it looks like...includes power, cables, adapters...
