I can fit my H2O, wearing the Kobo Sleep Cover, into the Amazon Basics 8 inch sleeve okay. It is a little snug at the corners but not really a problem.

I have a Kobo Aura HD (not the H2o) and have this cover by Coodio. It has on occasion gone to sleep on me when folded over--but only a few times. I think the only time I've had it happen is when I set the HD down on a metal table when eating.

My Cover-up black hemp cover arrived today. Sadly the sleep function is either not present or faulty although it is listed in the Amazon description.

I'm wondering if anyone else who pre-ordered has theirs and if it's working for them?

The cover is a nice snug fit and seems to be well made, my guess is it would protect the corners if the book was dropped.

Without the sleep function though I don't think it's suitable for me.

Just asking the obvious - is sleep functionality enabled in your settings?

My son gave me this M-Edge case for Christmas, It appears to be on sale for $20. It uses a neat silicon rubber attachment system. My AuraHD fits perfectly. They mount the device on a stiff board, as part of its built-in stand, but the board also adds to the protection from damage from twisting. A likely cause of substrata cracking of the screens. The rest of the case and the way it is attached provides a lot of protection in a fall or from shifting in a bag/backpack. You can fold it all the way open and the case edge is easy to hold.

Luck;
Ken

Yes, it works with the cheap cover I got on eBay, I've got it back in that one and it's working there.

My Kobo case may have saved my Kobo recently.

I bought the slimline Fintie case for my H2O from Amazon, and I almost never take my H2O out of it anymore. Compared to the official Kobo sleep cover I have seen (for the Glo, anyway), it's much thinner, less bulky, more convenient.

Nevertheless, the Fintie cover is pretty tough and rigid. Yesterday I fell asleep for several hours right on top of my Kobo. I'm a big guy, and I have to think that if I didn't have the cover on the H2O, I would have flexed it and possibly damaged it beyond repair. Fortunately, the Fintie case was rigid enough that my Kobo seems as good as new.

Summary: slimline Fintie H2O case = awesomeness.

My red Cover-Up cover arrived today and that doesn't have the sleep wake feature either. I've just checked the description and its not mentioned at all. I don't know if it ever was tbh. Mine is a temporary holiday cover as I use the Kobo Sleep cover normally (I wanted something more secure for taking to the beach) so I'm fine with it.

I'm pleased with it, and for what I paid it is great (£9.95 and the refunded my postage due to the delays) . I'm not sure it's worth full price though, without the sleep wake feature

I rather like the sleep feature of the Fintie. It's nice to just close the cover and it's asleep. Saves wear and tear on the power button.

I do too. The cover up case will be fine for a few weeks a year, but not for full time use.

Glad I didn't wait for the Cover-Up. I was thinking of getting one for a spare cover. But since it's not a sleep cover, forget it.

As I said in my previous post the the sleep function is mentioned on the Amazon description.

Amazon description.

It's also mentioned on their website.

Website description.

I'm waiting for Cover-up to respond to me, as things stand without the sleep function the cover is not as described.
