Hot coco with whipped cream and mini-marshmallows! First one of this new colder weather! (When the snow falls I'll add a slug of dark rum!)

It's good stuff to thems what luv it! ![]() It's a blend of Lapsang souchang, Keemun, and oolong teas. (Some companies blend in Assam instead of the Keemun.) The blend needs to be light on the LS as that can really overpower easily, but when you find the right company, it's a great drink to get you going on a frosty morning! ![]() Stitchawl |

When we lived in Singapore, my wife used to freeze coffee in ice cube trays. She would then be able to add one or two to her iced coffee, chilling it well without diluting it at all. ![]() Stitchawl |

Cuppa #4
Rooibos. I think I am getting used to Rooibos. At home I probably would like rooibos+some fancy flavour (like vanilla&raspberry or baked apple) but I might get a pack to drink at work. Stitchawl & kindlekitten Stop it right now. Stop teasing me with a drink I don't have but want to. |

French presses are great for tea or coffee but I would not use a coffee one for tea, you can never get the coffee flavor fully out. They are easy to travel with and allow you to make coffee the way you like it. Just use the coffee pot in the hotel to brew hot water.
I am on pot one, cup two of Rooibos Lemon. |

![]() Anyway, Astra... This is for you too!! ![]() McNulty’s Tea & Coffee Co., Inc 109 Christopher Street New York, NY 10014 Their website is quite bare bones but their catalog is packed. http://mcnultys.com/mcnultyscatalog2011.pdf They carry Lapsang Souchang in both lightly smoked and extra smokey, (I love the extra smokey,) as well as a good Russian Caravan tea blend. They ship all over the world and carry one of the largest selections of individual teas and coffees that I've seen. I first discovered them back in the 60's when I lived in Greenwich Village. I was walking down the street, noticed the shop, and have been a customer ever since. ![]() Baltimore Tea & Coffee http://www.baltcoffee.com/catalog/tea also carries a great selection of blended teas from many different suppliers. They too will ship internationally without making the customer jump through hoops. ![]() Stitchawl Last edited by Stitchawl; 10-26-2010 at 07:35 PM. |
