Yes, UK and US are separate, as is CA now. I have a US and a UK account, but have only an old, now dormant, username only account that's linked to my Canadian address. (But, while dormant, it has >250 books in it, so I'm not about to forget about it!)

This does have the feeling of Channels-Reborn, doesn't it? I never used Channels, but this looks like it could have some interesting stuff in it. As long as I can read offline, I'm fine with it.

There are lots of problems with this move:

there isn't an Audio Shows tab in the app, so how do you find content
from what I've read, very little Channels content moved over to Shows
Prime members no longer have free access to former Channels content

But if any of you are talking about California trying to separate itself from the other states, recall what happened the first and only time that states tried to do that before. Hint: it was in about 1861.

If you're talking about Cali _physically_ separating from the rest of the states, I can believe that. Only none of us likely will be alive to see it. I've heard since childhood that one day a large part of Cali will fall off into the Pacific Ocean. Something about earthquakes, and tectonic plates moving . . . .

You did catch the line that I was replying to: "Yes, UK and US are separate, as is CA now. ..." My first assumption was that CA meant California, since that's the approved abbrev for it!

And yes, since the last presidential election there has been talk (mostly smack talk, mind you) about California leaving the union. There was even a comic book about it (not on my TBR list, BTW).
