Because of the additional comment about not charging the device, I'm sure you're right, but seeing that review on the page was still a hoot. I still can't get the image out of my head of someone trying to pair a pair of ear plugs to an iPhone via Bluetooth.

For next week's reading retreat vacation I had planned on taking a colouring book and my pencils with me and nothing else creative. But somehow I find that added to the pile of things to pack there is also an empty sketch book, my graphite pencils, my cheapo set of watercolours and a waterbrush.

Right now I'm waiting for noon to arrive, just under three hours away. Then the shops I need to go to today will open and I can run my errands. Other chores today are to do some laundry, vacuum my bedroom, finish the media project I started weeks ago and place two online orders. Hopefully I can do most of those before it gets too warm to move again.

Just finished our evening meal outside (salads and cold meats). Now having a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio around the camp fire whilst number two son roasts marshmallows.

Pfff. Some of you might know my family, thanks to my uncle, has a Family Thing going on. At the moment there were two court cases pending. Case A wanted to wait before ruling to see what the ruling of case B was going to be. Case B was supposed to have had a ruling in early December but it kept being postponed, sometimes by a month, most of the time by two weeks.

Yesterday was the latest date of ruling was supposed to be. However, our lawyer hadn't heard anything and when she called the courts they told her there had neither been a ruling or a postponement. So she expected that it was postponed again.

Tonight my aunt called. Asking if we also had had the letter. Today she had received a letter with the ruling. And we won! Which is great, because initially the court had decided that we weren't a party in the case. We appealed and won and the case was send back to court.

Now we have to wait until September for case A, but we have the added "bonus" that now my grandmother has died the will has come into play and what's in the will is in our favour, too.

It's great news, especially when going on vacation next week (in January when my sister and I went away there was supposed to be a ruling, so we spend most of the day glued to our phone for news).

Tomorrow there will be cake!

It is. But I don't trust it.
Since my uncles temper tantrum (which is basically what it boils down to) started, every time we got good news it was followed by a big disappointment. So whilst my parents and sister were very happy last night, I was merely cautiously optimistic.
