It’s helpful to view that to confirm when a cheap membership is about to become full price, since Audible doesn’t warn you what amount the next membership will be. If you signed up for the Prime Day deal of three months for $4.95 per, it’s about time to cancel everyone.

It’s also good to look at that history to remind me to be patient on membership plans. Since discovering this thread (or it’s predecessors) in late 2014:
2014 - 4 credits/months for $1 total
2015 - 4 credits/months for $2 total
2016 - 10 credits/months for $7 total
2017 - 5 credits/months for $6 total
2018 - 8 credits/months for $20 total

So the price per credit is increasing, but still a couple free months in 2018, and never more than $4.95 per credit, my upper limit for an audiobook probably.

I get so tired of Audible issues. This time I wanted to cash in $15 of soon to expire $20 in credit and picked out two books totaling $15.43. But Audible was going to charge the 43¢ to my credit card instead of using my total coupon balance. Back to chat! it wasn't the 43¢, but I didn't want something to be going on with my last $5.

The upshot is that $5 more was added to my account and no doubt I'll have a problem using my total $9.57 in credit when the time comes. I spend an insane amount of time in chat with Audible. I wish it would just work right the first time.

Just had the same sort of thing happen to me, but I didn't get anything extra added to my coupon balance.

Apparently the checkout system is only adding one coupon at at time--I had two expiring $5 coupons, and it would apply only one to the purchase. CS replaced them with a single $10 coupon, which would have worked, but since they set the expiration for a year from now, I ended up deciding to hold on to the coupon till I find something better.
