Yesterday was my grandmother's cremation. On Monday my uncle decided he did want to give a speech after all. Which made everybody very nervous. Luckily he behave, kind of. The front row of chairs in the room the remembrance service was held in was reserved for my grandmother's children and their partners. He refused to come sit in that front row. During the coffee and cake he looked very uncomfortable and he and his girlfriend left quickly.

Afterwards the direct family took lunch together. We assured my uncle's daughters that we don't blame them and that they are always welcome in our house. Since the Family Thing had started they felt guilty about what their father has done and do not agree with him. We also agreed to have a family day soon and a cousin day in about 3 months time.

Afterwards it felt like a weight had lifted and last night was the first night in over a week I was able to sleep properly again. Yes, the Family Thing will go into the next phase, but it might turn out good for us.

Waiting whilst my tea is steeping, when it's done I'm going to watch a couple of episodes of season 3 of The X Files. I like Thursday nights; most weeks I have Friday morning off and I can stay up a bit longer than normal.

Sorting photographs. Yesterday I bought a mini album and page protectors so I can now begin making an album of my vacation in Krakow last year. The next step is to decide which pictures I want to have printed in 6x8 inches and order them, smaller ones I can print on my Selphy.

Planning my trip to Amsterdam next Tuesday. I've decided to go see a movie but I can't decide between 10 Cloverfield Lane and Deadpool. The rest of the day will be filled with shopping at my favourite stores and having lunch in my favourite lunchroom.

Just hung another bird feeder - a small one for the tiny birds close to the finch Nyjer seed socks - so they don't have to compete with the big birds at the main feeder. They already found it and approve!

I took a bath and read Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul.
Right now, clothes are drying and I am hanging out in the lounge.

You may be doing that wrong. You should hang the clothes to dry!

Would love to hang the clothes outside to dry. Yesterday we had a nice wind but we also had dust and pollen and any remaining dead leaves off of trees.
