Hmmm...what's that?

I've heard of the show, but I've never watched it. Not exactly my cup of tea.

I've just Googled her info, so she's Captain Starbuck. It looks like she appeared briefly in CSI (now, that's one of my favorite TV shows) a few years ago. I think I have a somewhat vague impression of her in the TV series.

I'm in Malaysia, by the way.

Ahhh, not a SciFi fan. I was guessing that, but neglected to include it in my last post. Oh, and I was guessing Hong Kong, close but no cigar!

Only hindsight will tell us for sure, and for that we need more books, but the way Skin Games was written could be necessary to set up books in the rest of the series.

As Rajan Khanna pointed out this book does not have the epic feel of the previous books. But who can ride that kind of a roller coaster of emotions without taking a break? This could be Jim Butcher's break and set up for even more epic novels. We know there is a 3 book climax coming eventually.

Only time, and ultimately more books, will reveal the truth.

*goes back to sitting in corner and drums fingers impatiently waiting for the next book(s)*

Actually, that was my feeling as well. Several plotlines really feels like a setup for the next couple of books at least.
I must admit, that some things were too easy or at least seems to be.

Not a fan of his acting as such, but his voice over acting in the Mass Effect series as "Joker" was brilliant!
